INSTRUMENT VALVES Excelok Valves are used in applications wherever instrument measurement occurs. Valves are used for isolation, venting, block & bleed, static pressure, absolute pressure, gauge pressure, differential pressure, liquid level instrument lines. Valve end connections are female NPT & male NPT. A needle valve is a type of valve with a small port and a threaded, needle-shaped plunger.

It allows precise regulation of flow, although it is generally only capable of relatively low flow rates. A ball valve is a form of quarter-turn valve which uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball to control flow through it. The ball valve drives the valve handle to rotate by a transmission, which in turn drives the ball to rotate about an axis perpendicular to the flow.
